SOLARIS VAULT BACKUP

Privacy policy

Solaris Vault Backup is operated for private use. It uses the Google Drive API to upload encrypted Vault database backups to the operator’s Google Drive and to read backup file metadata to verify the upload.

Google Drive access

The tool uses file-level Google Drive access for backup files and the backup folder it creates. It uses Google Drive data solely to store and verify the backups. It does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Storage and retention

The tool encrypts Vault snapshots before sending them to Google Drive. The server stores the Google authorization credential for scheduled uploads and restricts access to the credential. Local backup snapshots are retained for 30 days. The operator can view and delete cloud backups in Google Drive.

Removing access

The operator can revoke Google Drive access from the Google Account’s third-party connections page. Revoking access stops future uploads. The operator can remove existing cloud copies directly from Google Drive.
